PQs The Limo Jet

Yup, it is true. Someone has seriously turned a learjet into a 42 foot street legal limo, and you can purchase it.

We call this street legal learjet limo the Learmousine. It is 42 feet long and 8 feet wide. It originally started life as a Learjet manufactured by, you guessed it, Learjet. Dan Harris is the main who started the project back in 2005. His team spent about 2 years coming up with a frame that could support this aluminum beast. The electrical system and full suspension were built from the ground up. Making a small jet into a vehicle that is street legal is much harder said than done.

The driver sits in front of custom built four-spoke steering wheel. A huge panel of instruments from a first generation Chevrolet Silverado catches your eye. Four screen display various camera angles around the Learmousine. Four vertical rows of red toggle switches control music, lights and other accessories. The interior consists of a 42 inch flat screen TV. It also contains a shit load of lights and a minibar. There are over 17,000 watts pumping out to the speakers that are both inside and outside of the vehicle. Did we mention there are a shit load of lights?

What powers this monster is an 8.1 liter V8 engine sourced from Chevrolet. This is what spins the rear wheels. As far as how it handles, well I’m sure it handles like shit. Once again, it is 42 feet long and 8 feet wide. We do know that it doesn’t sound like a vehicle. This is thanks to the massive speakers all over. They play the sounds of a jet engine when you are driving. How cool is that?

The Learmousine will be up for auction in 2020 at the Mecum in Indy. The auction is set to take place May 12th-17th at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. The winning bidder will receive a custom built 44 foot Iron Bull trailer. They (the winner) will also receive a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD that’s powerful enough to pull it. There hasn’t been a publication yet to as what the starting price will be, but we expect it to be outrageous. If this is too pricey for you, maybe you should check out the lifted street legal limo that was created with just $4,000.

Now owned by Jettersetter, Inc, the Limo-Jet will be released to the public by the end of August, 2018. The Limo-Jet and its patent-pending design are the only one of its kind currently in the world.

This show stopping vehicle is 100% street legal and powered by a gasoline 8 cylinder engine. It's primary function will be to tour the U.S. and turn heads at all major events around the country.
